Machine or hand plaster? A guide for contractors

At what area a machine pays off, and what to coordinate before you start.

Where a machine pays off

On large continuous surfaces — typically several thousand square metres and up — machine plaster applies base and finish in one pass and shortens the programme.

Where hand plaster is better

Small rooms full of corners and openings, and repairs. The machine set-up cost isn't recovered there.

Before you start

Agree the machine water ratio, pump pressure and coat thickness with our technical team, and trial the first few metres.
